Water Mythical Creatures
Magical creatures ideas needed for a book we are writing?
My sister and I are writing a book which includes many different magical and mythical creatures. Most of the main creatures are common magical creatures found in books e.g. Elves, vampires, pixies etc but we’re trying to make our book stand out by introudcing some less known characters as well as creating some of our own.
We require a number of sea/water creatures for our book but at the moment we only have merfolk and nagas/naginis. What we would like to do is take a common sea creature and mix it with human so it is half of both (like a mermaid is half human, half fish) but we would like an unusual sea creature to make it different (e.g. maybe a jelly fish?). Any ideas would be appreciated and we would also love to hear your ideas for any other creatures that could be included in our book.
