Fantasy Draft Picks

What to do with draft picks in fantasy football keeper league?

The way our league is set up (please hold criticisms of our league for a later date) you can keep three players from last season. You lose your pick in the round that each of your keepers was selected the previous year.

One of our players (through trade) would like to keep two players drafted in the first round last year.

What should their draft picks be? What should they lose? Should we just not allow them to pick those two?

If someone was smart enough to pick up two players who were drafted in the first round from last year and wants to keep them, let him. He DID make the trade.

I guess he should lose his first and second rounders in your system. Unless his second rounder is also on his list and that would make it his third rounder.

Face it, he’s still going to have the best team out there, depending on who he kept, too. If he kept Larry Fitzgerald and Calvin Johnson as first rounders, you’re in for a very long season. Or maybe Adrian Peterson.

I’d still be happy to lose my first three picks if I could get those three players on the same team! Someone out there does have them, I bet!!

Should Josh Freeman and Matt Stafford be early fantasy draft picks?
