I’m writing a book and need creative name ideas for places.?

Anyone have a suggestion? I am writing about a mythical place and can’t come up with something unique. It’s a kids’ book so nothing dirty.

Do not let naysayers deter you from writing. The best way to succeed is to keep writing. Go for it.

I like the suggestion about taking a word and scrambling the letters. I’ve found some of my words in Seek-a-Word puzzles. Remember to make it easy to pronounce. If your book is likely to read out loud, you don’t want anyone wondering just how to pronounce “Cornia” or “Flabberghast.” Not that I would suggest anyone use Flabberghast. It sounds ghastly. On the other hand, the villain could be from there….
